PROACTIVE REMEDIATION AND MIDIGATION IN INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY

Problem: Company was utilizing Windows NT 4.0 Server with tape back-up system that was no longer functional and server was without redundant drives.  This system was also utilizing ScanRoute Technology for networked copier whose connectivity was unstable.  The Firewall was operating out of manufactures current specifications and provided minimal protection. Client wanted to remove e-mail from POP3 servers.

Resolution: Implemented Windows 2003 SBS with Exchange e-mail, Outlook 2003, Share Point Services, and Share Fax Services.  Installed new Firewall and configured with latest manufacturer specifications, thus providing maximum protection, but still allowing remote communication to SBS Server for mobile work force.
